Jacket: Old Navy (yellow is unfortunately sold out online!), Black Turtleneck: Zara, Jeans: C&V Chelsea & Violet at Dillard’s, Shoes: Vans, Sunglasses: Kate Spade
You guys, this jacket though. I’m normally one to wear black everyday, but this color just spoke to me. It’s been so cold here (30s-40s F) in Florida the last week. It finally reached the mid 50s this weekend so I could finally wear an actual cute outfit!
Puffer jackets have been one of the top trends this season, especially in bright colors. I picked this yellow jacket up at Old Navy before Black Friday when the whole store was 40% off. I actually did most of my Christmas shopping before Black Friday because I wanted the best selection at still great prices. I got the jacket for less than $40! It’s very warm, water-proof, and the color is a happy shade of mustard. Wear it on or off the shoulders for that downtown cool look.
Bodysuit – Gianni Bini
I’m loving my very first bodysuit purchase! I used to be very skeptical of them. Would I feel like a child in this? Would it ride up in the back? Would it show panty lines? Maybe it depends on the bodysuit. I’ve found just the perfect one from Dillard’s. It’s made out of ponte knit fabric, which has a thicker consistency and holds you in all the right places. It has a halter neckline and is high enough in the back so that you can still wear a strapless bra. As far as panty lines go, they don’t show! Because it’s more of a thong style, it sits high and blends seamlessly.
I think the best part of this bodysuit is definitely the floral appliques. Roses are having a big moment in fashion right now (hello Gucci) and these are at just the right spot on the bust. The hot pink color makes everything pop and says you’re ready for summer festivals!
FYI: I’m wearing a size medium. It fit me best with my long torso.
