Best Looks from NYFW Fall 2015

New York Fashion Week is officially over and it’s time for a recap! I loved seeing all the crisp fall looks. Actually, from the street style photos it looked more like bundled up winter looks. Keyword: layering! It has been a dream of mine to go see the shows for a few years now. You know, front row and all. Definitely working my way up in the industry to achieve that goal. In the meantime, I can admire from afar in Florida.

Biggest Trends:

-BLACK. The 2 Wang’s served it up in all-black looks. Vera was ladylike chic, Alexander was edgy modern.

-The 70s are back baby! With a modern update, of course. Lots of over-the-knee boots, fringe, wide leg pants, tweed, and loose, flowy dresses.

-Furrrrr. Looks like all the designers are predicting another deep freeze next winter as well because fur was major. From all over fur jackets to vests to scarves, fur was shown in a multitude of colors and sizes.

Since it’s been absolutely freezing in New York for Fashion Week, I don’t blame these women for wanting to keep warm. What better way to stay chic and cozy then loose, comfy layering. These ladies know how to stay pajama chic.
