I’m officially 24! This year my birthday fell on a Wednesday, so I celebrated with my friends this past Saturday night (aka Grammy weekend). My friends are scattered all throughout SoCal so I decided to book a hotel room that was central in Hollywood so everyone could come spend the night and hangout!
Loews Hollywood Hotel – My Review
I had requested a Superior Room with 2 beds through Priceline, but once I got there to check-in they said they didn’t have any left so they gave me a complimentary upgrade to a junior suite! It was huge! I mean look at that floor space in the photo below. The couch had a pull out bed so it fit everyone who planned on staying the night.
All in all, I recommend this hotel! Although it’s not super trendy, it’s super classy. The staff members were incredibly nice and accommodating. I was able to check-in early with no extra charge and the upgrade was a nice touch. When my friend realized she forgot a wine bottle opener, she called the front desk and they brought it up on a little dish a few minutes later. How cute! And I can’t say this enough. Location. Location. Location. Not only was the hotel directly connected to the Hollywood and Highland Shopping Center, but it was accessible to nearly every major Hollywood nightclub. Everything was walkable. We didn’t have to drive anywhere our entire stay.
Plenty of counter space and good lighting is essential for many girls doing their makeup at the same time.
The view was pretty cool during the day, but I was surprised you can’t see the sign at night. No budget for lights city of Hollywood?
The pool looked massive online, but it was definitely a kiddie pool. Nice for lounging though. The gym is right next door.
Hot dogs or legs?
All of us ready for a night out on the town!
